New Mens Flag National Team HC

The SAFV is excited to announce the arrival of Urs Fässler as the new Men’s Flag National Team Head Coach! 

Urs has a very long and storied career as a player and coach in Switzerland, going back to 1989 with the Zug Dolphins. 

He has been a Men’s Flag national team player, and also a Swiss Flag champion. Urs started coaching a decade ago with the Midland Bouncers, and now, having retired from his roles with them – will move on to leading the Men’s Flag National Team as the new Head Coach! 

Urs starts his duties with immediate effect and will have plenty of work to do ahead of the IFAF European Flag Championship in 2023 in Ireland!

The SAFV wishes him best of luck in this new position! 

At this time the SAFV would also like to thank Fabian Munoz for his great work in this position up until this point! Fabian is stepping away from the role with personal projects in mind, and the SAFV wishes him all the best for the future!
